Harwich Accordion Orchestra , 07 August 2008, 19:30 to 21:00 at St. James Church, Beatrice Road, Clacton
39 enthusiastic accordionists of all ages, from all over the country led by Julie North will perform in St James church, Clacton-on-sea, on Thursday the 7th August at 7.30 pm. This year two professional soloists will add texture and variety to the orchestra: Elenor Hull (Double Bass) and Ruth Potter (Harp). The concert is the culmination of an intensive week of rehearsals and this will be the 22nd anniversary of the course. The repertoire will include a lively mix of classical, folk and old favourites in what should prove to be a thoroughly entertaining evening. Entrance £3.50, accompanied children free, all proceeds to Church Funds.
